Today, my guest is Dr. Matt Kaeberlein, a CEO of Optispan, anti-aging researcher, Professor at the University of Washington, and founding Director of the University of Washington Healthy Aging and Longevity Research Institute. Dr Kaeberlein is the author of over 250 published scientific research articles on aging, healthspan, and longevity of people and companion animals. Dr. Kaeberlein is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Aging Association, and the Gerontological Society of America. He has received numerous prestigious awards from organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association and the National Institutes of Health. He has co-founded two companies, Ora Biomedical, Inc., a leading longevity drug discovery biotech, and Optispan, Inc., a healthcare technology company focused on developing innovative tools for 21st-century medicine. He is also the Co-Founder of the Dog Aging Project and Dog Aging Institute.
